Biography

Binesh Kumar is a second-year Ph.D. student at SAIL LAB, pursuing his research on applications of AI in Healthcare. His current research is focused on reinforcement learning for precision oncology. Binesh has over 15 years of industry experience and is currently a Sr. Principal research engineer at Medtronic, a leading medical devices manufacturer. He has a master’s degree in data science from University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in electronics from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
